Connecting people who care with causes that matter. All wrestlers who participate in the PINS FOR KIDS fundraising campaign are dedicated to helping children who suffer from Tay-Sachs Disease.
Your tax-deductible donation will be processed through the Delaware Community Foundation and distributed to the Cure Tay Sachs foundation. We invite you to explore the Delaware Community Foundation's website and learn how we are strengthening our community through the power of philanthropy, and how we connect people who care with causes that matter.
By supporting this cause, you are helping young men achieve a goal which they will take with them long after their high school careers are etched in stone. It will take the sport of wrestling to new heights for teens who normally train for an individual sport as they learn to focus their attention on working as a team by helping underprivileged children who may never have the opportunity to walk, talk or perform any type of physical sport.
How your donation helps
Experience the Power of Philanthropy! When you carry out your charitable giving through a fund at the Delaware Community Foundation, you are helping to build a stronger Delaware while meeting your own charitable and financial goals. All donations are tax deductible under the Internal Revenue Code as defined by Sections 501 (c) (3) and 509 (a) (1). Approximately 99% of all donated funds will be used to support the Cure Tay Sachs effort. Those of us that run the Pins for Kids program do it on a pure voluntary basis.
With your help, we will continue to provide support to families around the world who are affected by Tay-Sachs Disease and to be a strong voice in advocating for needed research and improved treatments.

It is important to reference PINS FOR KIDS as your organization and be sure to mention the wrestler's name you are supporting. All donations will be distributed at the end of the wrestling season.
Other ways you can help further our cause
Matching Gifts
A matching gift is an effective way to magnify your personal contribution to PINS for KIDS. Ask your employer or someone in your company's human resource department about the company's matching gift program. Contact the Delaware Community Foundation at 302.571.8004 and they will be happy to complete the form and return it as directed. You can also fax the completed form to 302.571.1553.
Stock Donations
You may make a gift for PINS for KIDS by donating stock. You are entitled to a charitable deduction for the full, fair-market value of the stock at the time you sign its ownership to the Delaware Community Foundation. The donated stock is not taxed on any appreciation and there is no capital gains tax on stock transfers.
